Parish Council papers are published on this website under the terms of its publication scheme under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and as part of the Council’s commitment to open government.
A meeting agenda is made available on the Calendar of Meetings at least 3 clear working days in advance of the meeting. Once approved, minutes of Parish Council meetings and Planning Committee meetings are made available on the Calendar of Meetings and retained there for at least 3 months. After that, minutes are moved to the Archive.
A description of the information available from Cumnor Parish Council under the model publication scheme can be found here: Model Publication Scheme FoI.
Other information under the Act is available on application to the Clerk; please note that under the Act, all requests for information must be made in writing. There will be a charge to cover the actual cost of providing the information.

We are continuing to build our evidence base for the Neighbourhood Plan. We have completed a draft set of Character Assessments for the Parish. 25 individual assessments, covering 90% of the Parish have been completed by 16 volunteers. The documents are available to view at www.cumnorneighbourhoodplan.co.uk
The documents are being reviewed by local residents who are expert in their field or have strong local knowledge to add richness to the documents and ensure accuracy. If you have feedback or comments, get in touch.
